Panagiotis Voulgaris is a visual artist, curator, and co-director of FokiaNou Art Space in Athens, Greece. His main work is articulated through installations and interventions in archaeological sites, old buildings, public space, and the landscape. He has participated in many exhibitions, video festivals, public art projects and residencies in Greece, the USA, Malta, Italy, Sweden, Croatia, France, Spain, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Turkey, and Brazil. Since 2016, he has organized more than 60 exhibitions and projects in FokiaNou Art Space, co-curating a significant number of them, alongside with talks, workshops, and other events. He was named a resident artist of the Valletta 2018 European Capital of Culture, and he was also a recipient of the STEP Travel Grant from the European Cultural Foundation in 2019.
